Venue and Seating Information

Van Andel Arena is a major indoor event venue in downtown Grand Rapids, hosting concerts and other large-scale events. Its central location puts the arena within reach of downtown restaurants and hotels, making it practical to plan an evening around the show. Concert seating configurations can vary, so check the event's current seating map before choosing tickets.

For a concert, floor seats can offer a close view of the stage, while lower-bowl seats provide an elevated perspective and a broader view of the performance. Upper-level seats are generally a more budget-conscious way to experience the full production. The best fit depends on the event's stage layout, sightlines, and your preference for proximity versus overview.

Parking Information

Downtown Grand Rapids has a mix of parking facilities and street parking within walking distance of the arena. Availability and rates can vary by event, so confirm current details with the operator before setting out.

• Look for public garages and surface lots in the downtown area, then compare walking distance and posted event rates.
• Street parking may be available, but check signs carefully for time limits, restrictions, and payment requirements.
• Consider arriving early to allow time for parking and the walk to the arena, especially when several events are drawing visitors downtown.
